Executive Search
Our confidential searches are committed to the placement of highly qualified professionals into mid and upper level executive positions. Our clients, Architectural, Engineering and Planning consulting firms, range from both small, private companies to large publicly held consulting firms.

Our extensive network gives you immediate access to the top talent throughout the United States. The Metzner Group approach and methodology will be adapted to meet your recruiting needs. Our approaches fall into various search options. You are able to decide which solution works best for your projects:

Partial Retainer: This performance based approach is often utilized for searches requiring immediate focus, urgency and confidentiality. In this type of search, our fee is paid in two installments. The first payment or engagement fee is due when we begin the search. The final payment is due only after the search has been completed. This strategy assures that our experienced industry specific national recruiting team will direct their efforts immediately.

Monthly Retainer: This approach is often utilized by our clients who are familiar with our high search/placement success rate. They want to feel confident that they will have first review of qualified candidates, gain industry intelligence and that they will receive priority response from our team. These contracts are commonly set for 3/6/9/12 months and reviewed at 3 month intervals.

Contingency: Our fee is not paid until a candidate has been hired. This approach is commonly utilized for our clients with high volume, multiple searches. While this approach allows efficient management of time on these multiple searches, these assignments do not have the urgency of other searches.

In either search process, your contact with The Metzner Group will be with our President, Carol Metzner. She will be involved in all facets of the recruitment process as well as the negotiation of compensation packages in order to ensure successful placements.

Board of Directors
The Metzner Group is retained to assist in identifying and recruiting senior professionals to provide leadership as members of corporate Board of Directors. With over 20 years of involvement in the A/E/P national communities, our executive management contacts come from a variety of public and privately held companies and/or public sector agencies. We are proud of the caliber of talented leaders and experts we can call upon.

Consulting
Our network of A/E/P experienced business and human resources professionals also provides employment and/or business management expertise on a consulting basis. Clients often call upon our experts to develop staffing strategies, pre-employment assessments, employee assessments and training, executive coaching, benefit review, compensation structuring, job description development and outplacement services. Additionally, we are regularly hired to develop industry or competitive intelligence.

Mergers and Acquisitions
The Metzner Group serves in an introductory role to assist our clients with Mergers or Acquisitions. Our well-known A/E/P industry business consultants are skilled in buyer/seller representation, deal structuring, due diligence and integration planning and implementation.
